Aquaphor BCMB-045 Reverse Osmosis Prefilter Polypropylene Replacement Filter
The polypropylene filter is the first purification stage in the Aquaphor ARO-100 PRO reverse osmosis system. Its role is to capture large solid particles present in tap water, allowing cleaner water to reach the subsequent filtration stages.
What it removes:
- Rust from old pipes
- Soil and sludge
- Dust
- Suspended solids
- Any particle up to approximately 5 microns
Why it’s important:
This stage protects the following filters, especially the reverse osmosis membrane, from clogging and damage. As a result:
- System lifespan is extended
